Hi, my name is Olgui, in 1989 I had a car accident and my right knee was damaged. My knee was inflammed and it was very, very painful. In February 2008, God placed in my path a marvelous being, Maria Antonieta Riveros-Revello, Reiki master. I began taking clases of Reiki with her. She gave me Reiki in my knee as well as my whole body. I began giving myself Reiki. She introduced me to another Reiki master and good friend of hers (as well as mine) Luis Riveros (Lucho) who helped me a lot. I thank God very much for making me a healing channel through Reiki for myself and others, because I am healed, thanks God and my friends, Maria Antonieta and Lucho. In November 2005 after I decided to move from New York to Tampa, and since it was my last week of work I decided to take all the appropriate medical exams and to take advantage of my medical insurance before it expired. One of these exams was for my visión at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. In the middle of the exam which was performed by a doctor and one medical student , I was asked if my face had changed. That question amazed me since I was carrying that week, a picture from about 5 to 10 years ago which was evident that my face had changed. Everyone had noticed that. I answered that in effect , it had changed. She added that my voice, my hands and my face showed a condition called acromegalia and they adviced me to ask my doctor to prescribe all the exams pertaining to that condition. Acromegalia causes the excessive production of the hormone in charge of grow which in turn makes the bones to grow without restriction, deforming the face, hands, feet and some internal organs. This condition could end with the life of the individual without proper treatment. I took all the exams in Tampa, which confirmed Acromegalia. After consulting with an endocrinologist and a neurologist, the best option was surgery to remove a tumor which was hosted in the pituitary gland. This procudre took place on December 19, 2005. A week after my doctor called me stating that unfortunately part of the tumor was still there. The options were to have surgery again to remove this tumor and to take medicine for the rest of my life, or to have shots every 8 hours for the rest of my life or radiation for 3 years. I requested to have some time to think it over since none of the options seemed better than the other and I wanted to look for alternative methods. I consulted with my pastor, Enrique Amoros, Reiki master who told me that he will treat me with Reiki for 6 weeks, once a week. I asked my doctor to give me 6 weeks and to go back there on the 7th week for another test. I began my treatment with several Reiki practitioners and when I came back, my doctor was surprised to find out that there was no need for further treatment, since “those vitamins” (the way my doctor interpreted my wellness) had taken care of the matter and to continue doing what I was doing. I came back for further monitoring 3 times and everything is fine thanks to Reiki.
